Hardware Warranty
The complimentary hardware-warranty is subject to the following terms & conditions :
No returns will be accepted after a period of 2 weeks from when the customer
has commenced using the goods and then been deemed to have accepted the
goods in full working order
The Hardware-Warranty covers only hardware, not software but any
changes to the software-configuration that may directly affect the hardware
like a disk-format or complete re-installation, changing motherboard-monitoring
software settings, changing the Windows power-scheme or over-clocking will
invalidate the hardware warranty
The Hardware-Warranty covers replacement of components of the PC that are
faulty due to a manufacturing defect and not computer misuse
(a particularly common example that would be deemed as misuse, where there
is no original defect, is where computer users break the fragile pins in
a USB-socket on the front, side or rear of the PC, or subject the PC to
sudden impact from cleaners or where the base-unit is under a cramped desk
and gets bashed into etc) - under any circumstances deemed as misuse, Working-PC
will not be obligated to carry out a repair under warranty
As you would expect, opening the PC-case or carrying out any hardware-upgrade
will also invalidate the warranty with immediate effect
Warranty-repairs will be carried out 'on-site' where possible if the client-site
is within a 20 mile radius, otherwise the client must bring their PC to
our base in Edinburgh City Centre
THREE Year Warranty:
The three year hardware warranty supplied FREE with PC base-units will
be subject to the following conditions:
1) Hardware components proven to be faulty as qualified in the above general
terms and all time needed to carry out replacement, will be provided free
of charge for a period of TWO YEARS
2) In the THIRD YEAR, only the TIME required will be provided free of charge
